The Johnson Bayou Rebels (Cameron, LA) basketball felled the visiting Vinton Lions (Vinton, LA), 42-28 in Monday's non-league test.
The Rebels (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Elizabeth (Elizabeth, LA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Elizabeth was beaten by Glenmora (Glenmora, LA), 71-40, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Kinder for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 6. Vinton will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 58-26 non-league loss to Reeves (Reeves, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-6.
