The Roosevelt Rough Riders (Los Angeles, CA) basketball nipped the host Legacy Tigers (South Gate, CA), 37-35 in Monday's league test.

The Rough Riders (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Mayfield (Pasadena, CA). The Cubs go into the non-league test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Mayfield was edged by Alhambra (Alhambra, CA), 52-34, in a non-league bout.

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Garfield Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA) in a Eastern bout, on Wednesday, December 7. Legacy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 50-49 league win over South Gate (South Gate, CA).
