In Monday's league outing, the Warren-Alvarado-Oslo Ponies (Warren, MN) basketball squad edged the visiting Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] Nordics (Newfolden, MN), by a count of 51-44.

The Ponies (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Kelliher/Northome (Northome, MN). The Mustangs go into the A Section 8 outing with a 3-0 record.

The Nordics now hold a 1-3 record.
