Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the San Gabriel Matadors (San Gabriel, CA) and the visiting El Rancho Dons (Pico Rivera, CA), saw San Gabriel's basketball squad knock off El Rancho by a tally of 38-21.

With the victory, San Gabriel improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Matadors host La Quinta (Westminster, CA) to play the Aztecs in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. The Aztecs come into the challenge with a record of 3-0.

Next up, the Dons play the Garfield Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 8. El Rancho will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
