The Covenant Christian Academy Falcons basketball team scored 48 points and held the host East Central HomeSchool Patriots to 9 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Monday.

The Falcons now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Evangel Christian for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8. Covenant Christian Academy will meet a Lightning team coming off a 38-28 league win over Tuscaloosa Home Educators (Northport, AL). The Lightning record now stands at 5-0.

The Patriots (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Restoration Academy (Fairfield, AL). The enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Restoration Academy was routed by Evangel Christian (Alabaster, AL), 45-41, in a non-league contest.
