Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Lower Richland Diamond Hornets (Hopkins, SC) and the host South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC), saw Lower Richland's basketball squad knock off South Aiken by a count of 43-32.

With the victory, Lower Richland upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Diamond Hornets travel to A.C. Flora (Columbia, SC) to play the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 8. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Thoroughbreds play the Aiken Fighting Green Hornets (Aiken, SC) in a challenge, on Thursday, January 19. South Aiken will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
