The Adams Central Patriots basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Wood River Eagles to 45 in the Patriots league triumph on Tuesday.
The Patriots now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gothenburg for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Adams Central will meet a Swedes team coming off a 54-37 non-league win over Hershey (Hershey, NE). The Swedes record now stands at 2-0.
The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against St. Paul (St. Paul, NE). The Wildcats enter the C1 District 9 contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, St. Paul was defeated by Doniphan-Trumbull (Doniphan, NE), 64-43, in a league contest.
