Alvarado Indians (Alvarado, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Western Hills Cougars (Fort Worth, TX), 61-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Alvarado upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Jefferson (Jefferson, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 7-1. Jefferson won 45-21 in their recent non-league bout against New Boston (New Boston, TX)

Next up, the Cougars play the Paschal Panthers (Fort Worth, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Western Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record.
