South Carolina High School Basketball - North holds off Bethune-Bowman

December 5, 2023: Orangeburg, SC 29133

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the North Eagles (North, SC) and the host Bethune-Bowman Mohawks (Orangeburg, SC), saw North's basketball squad hold off Bethune-Bowman by a tally of 72-65.

With the victory, North improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Branchville (Branchville, SC) to confront the Yellow Jackets in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Branchville won 51-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Lake Marion (Santee, SC)

Next up, the Mohawks confront the Orangeburg-Wilkinson Bruins (Orangeburg, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. Bethune-Bowman will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 57-47 non-league win over Woodland (Dorchester, SC).
