The Bixby Spartans basketball team scored 81 points and restricted the host Ponca City Wildcats to 55 in the Spartans league victory on Tuesday.

The Spartans now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Will Rogers College for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Bixby will battle a Ropers team coming off a 59-50 league loss to Sapulpa (Sapulpa, OK). The Ropers record now stands at 0-2.

The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Stillwater (Stillwater, OK). The Pioneers come into the 6A District 4 contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Stillwater was routed by Choctaw (Choctaw, OK), 64-42, in a league contest.
