Boone Toreadors (Boone, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Winterset Huskies (Winterset, IA), 48-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Boone upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Toreadors travel to Ballard (Huxley, IA) to play the Bombers in a Raccoon River bout on Friday, December 8. The Bombers go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Ballard lost 74-69 in their recent league bout against Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA)

Next up, the Huskies play the Carlisle Wildcats (Carlisle, IA) in a Raccoon River bout, on Friday, December 8. Winterset will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 63-49 non-league loss to Clarke (Osceola, IA).
