The Brownstown/St. Elmo Eagles (St. Elmo, IL) basketball felled the host North Clay/Clay City (Louisville, IL), 62-51 in Tuesday's league test.

The Eagles (7-0) will now prepare for their test against St. Anthony (Effingham, IL). The Bulldogs go into the National Trail test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, St. Anthony thwarted Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City (Cowden, IL), 81-46, in a league test.
