Arkansas High School Basketball - Cedar Ridge trounces Quitman

The Cedar Ridge Timberwolves (Newark, AR) basketball crushed the visiting Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, AR), 84-55 in Tuesday's league test.
The Timberwolves (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Searcy (Searcy, AR). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Searcy walloped Southside (Batesville, AR), 64-60, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to South Side for a 2A Region 2 test on Friday, December 8. Quitman will encounter a Hornet squad coming off a 77-47 league loss to Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR). The Hornet record now stands at 7-8.
