The Springville Orioles basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Central City Wildcats to 45 in the Orioles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Orioles now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lisbon for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Springville will battle a Lions team coming off a 89-62 league loss to Marquette (Bellevue, IA). The Lions record now stands at 2-2.
The Wildcats (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Midland (Wyoming, IA). The Eagles enter the Tri-Rivers contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Midland was defeated by Prince of Peace Prep (Clinton, IA), 55-37, in a non-league contest.
