Central York Panthers (York, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Reading Red KNights (Reading, PA), 90-73 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Central York upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Lower Dauphin (Hummelstown, PA) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Lower Dauphin won 62-48 in their recent non-league bout against Shippensburg (Shippensburg, PA)

Next up, the Red KNights play the J.P. McCaskey Red Tornado (Lancaster, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Reading will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Red Tornado come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 56-53 non-league win over Chichester (Boothwyn, PA).
