The St. Edward Green Wave (Elgin, IL) basketball crushed the host Chicago Christian Knights (Palos Heights, IL), 59-38 in Tuesday's league test.
The Green Wave (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Timothy Christian (Elmhurst, IL). The Trojans go into the Freelance test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Timothy Christian was trounced by Christ the King (Chicago, IL), 55-39, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Aurora Christian for a Freelance test on Friday, December 8. Chicago Christian will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 69-23 league win over Parkview Christian Academy (Yorkville, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 7-0.
