Clarksville Panthers (Clarksville, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Waldron Bulldogs (Waldron, AR), 51-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Clarksville upgrades its record to 1-8 on the season. The Panthers travel to Pea Ridge (Pea Ridge, AR) to play the Blackhawks in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Pea Ridge lost 73-66 in their recent non-league bout against Subiaco Academy (Subiaco, AR)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Ozark Hillbillies (Ozark, AR) in a 4A Region 4 bout, on Friday, December 8. Waldron will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Hillbillies go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 56-39 non-league loss to Van Buren (Van Buren, AR).
