In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Colfax Falcons (Colfax, CA) basketball squad edged the visiting Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), by a count of 59-56.
The Falcons (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Amador (Sutter Creek, CA). The Buffaloes go into the non-league outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Amador held off Franklin (Stockton, CA), 76-56, in a non-league outing.
The Miners now hold a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Pajaro Valley for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 7. Nevada Union will clash with a Grizzlies squad coming off a 65-34 league win over Anzar (San Juan Bautista, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 1-3.
