North Carolina High School Basketball - College Prep & Leadership Academy edges Piedmont Classical

The College Prep & Leadership Academy Royals (Jamestown, NC) basketball nipped the host Piedmont Classical Bobcats (Browns Summit, NC), 52-50 in Tuesday's league test.

The Royals (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Triad Math and Science Academy (Greensboro, NC). The Bengals go into the 1A Northwest Piedmont test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Triad Math and Science Academy was tipped by Winston-Salem Prep (Winston-Salem, NC), 60-18, in a league test.

The Bobcats now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Page for a non-league test on Thursday, December 7. Piedmont Classical will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 64-51 non-league win over Dudley (Greensboro, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 2-3.
