Rensselaer Rams (Rensselaer, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Coxsackie-Athens Riverhawks (Coxsackie, NY), 67-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Rensselaer upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Rams host Watervliet (Watervliet, NY) to play the Cannoneers in a Section 2 Patroon bout on Friday, December 8. The Cannoneers go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Watervliet won 81-51 in their recent league bout against Chatham (Chatham, NY)

Next up, the Riverhawks play the Chatham Panthers (Chatham, NY) in a Section 2 Patroon bout, on Wednesday, December 13. Coxsackie-Athens will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
