The Webster County Trojans basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Crittenden County Rockets to 40 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hopkins County Central for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Webster County will battle a Storm team coming off a 82-70 league loss to Dawson Springs (Dawson Springs, KY). The Storm record now stands at 3-1.

The Rockets (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Trigg County (Cadiz, KY). The Wildcats enter the District 5 contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Trigg County was routed by Caldwell County (Princeton, KY), 62-51, in a non-league contest.
