Dawson County Tigers (Dawsonville, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host West Hall Spartans (Oakwood, GA), 74-68 in a league bout.

With the win, Dawson County upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Tigers host Gilmer (Ellijay, GA) to clash with the Bobcats in a AAA Region 7 bout on Friday, December 8. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Gilmer won 76-71 in their recent league bout against Pickens (Jasper, GA)

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) in a AAA Region 7 bout, on Friday, December 8. West Hall will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 70-63 league loss to Wesleyan (Norcross, GA).
