In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Magnolia Heights Chiefs (Senatobia, MS) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Delta Streets Academy Lions (Greenwood, MS), by a margin of 68-45.

The Chiefs (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Starkville Academy (Starkville, MS). The Volunteers go into the MAIS 5A District 1 outing with a 6-3 record.

The Lions now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Manchester Academy for a MAIS 4A District 2 outing on Thursday, December 7. Delta Streets Academy will clash with a Mavericks squad coming off a 61-40 non-league loss to Central Holmes Christian (Lexington, MS). The Mavericks record now stands at 0-1.
