Dermott Rams (Dermott, AR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hermitage Hermits (Hermitage, AR), 79-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Dermott upgrades its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Rams host Star City (Star City, AR) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 2-2. Star City lost 61-55 in their recent non-league bout against Drew Central (Monticello, AR)

Next up, the Hermits play the Bearden Bears (Bearden, AR) in a 1A Region 8 bout, on Friday, December 8. Hermitage will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 71-33 league loss to Nevada (Rosston, AR).
