Eastside Early College Panthers (Austin, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Travis Rebels (Austin, TX), 68-59 in a league bout.

With the victory, Eastside Early College upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Crockett (Austin, TX) to play the Cougars in a 5A Region III District 24 bout on Friday, December 8. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 3-11. Crockett lost 67-52 in their recent league bout against Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin (Austin, TX)

Next up, the Rebels play the East View Patriots (Georgetown, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Travis will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 67-64 non-league win over Liberty Hill (Liberty Hill, TX).
