O'Fallon Panthers (O'Fallon, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Edwardsville Tigers (Edwardsville, IL), 64-46 in a league bout.

With the win, O'Fallon upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Panthers host Alton (Alton, IL) to clash with the Redbirds in a Southwestern bout on Friday, December 8. The Redbirds go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Alton lost 57-52 in their recent league bout against East St. Louis (East St. Louis, IL)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Roosevelt Roughriders (St. Louis, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Edwardsville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
