The Essex Trojans basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Hamburg Wildcats to 33 in the Trojans non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shenandoah for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Essex will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 75-54 non-league win over Sidney (Sidney, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-4.

The Wildcats (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Griswold (Griswold, IA). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record.
