In Tuesday's league outing, the Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA), by a margin of 74-53.
The Blue Devils (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Murray County (Chatsworth, GA). The Indians go into the AA Region 7 outing with a 4-1 record. In their last outing, Murray County smashed Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA), 61-56, in a non-league outing.
The Rebels now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Southeast Whitfield County for a non-league outing on Friday, December 8. Fannin County will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 75-47 non-league loss to Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 2-5.
