The Sanderson Eagles basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting Fort Davis Indians to 28 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sierra Blanca for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Sanderson will meet a Vaqueros team coming off a 55-51 non-league loss to Dell City (Dell City, TX). The Vaqueros record now stands at 1-4.

The Indians (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Van Horn (Van Horn, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Van Horn ran past Rankin (Rankin, TX), 35-24, in a non-league contest.
