Walton-Verona Bearcats (Walton, KY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Gallatin County Wildcats (Warsaw, KY), 73-64 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Walton-Verona upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to South Oldham (Crestwood, KY) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 0-2. South Oldham lost 91-85 in their recent non-league bout against Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Eminence Warriors (Eminence, KY) in a District 31 bout, on Friday, December 8. Gallatin County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 73-38 non-league loss to Williamstown (Williamstown, KY).
