Grant Park Dragons (Grant Park, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Tri-Point Chargers (Cullom, IL), 50-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Grant Park upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Dragons travel to Grace Christian Academy (Kankakee, IL) to play the Crusaders in a River Valley bout on Friday, December 8. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Grace Christian Academy lost 55-35 in their recent league bout against St. Anne (St. Anne, IL)

Next up, the Chargers play the Clifton Central Comets (Clifton, IL) in a River Valley bout, on Friday, December 8. Tri-Point will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 61-58 league win over Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL).
