Palmetto Christian Academy Lions (Greenwood, SC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host GREEN Upstate Owls (Simpsonville, SC), 53-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Palmetto Christian Academy upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Oconee Christian Academy (Seneca, SC) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 2-5. Oconee Christian Academy lost 69-41 in their recent non-league bout against Temple Christian Academy (Anderson, SC)

Next up, the Owls play the Anderson Cavaliers Cavaliers (Anderson, SC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. GREEN Upstate will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 76-49 non-league loss to Greenville Hurricanes (Greenville, SC).
