Stanton Vikings (Stanton, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Griswold Tigers (Griswold, IA), 67-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Stanton upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Vikings host Lenox (Lenox, IA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Lenox lost 50-44 in their recent league bout against Mount Ayr (Mount Ayr, IA)
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Sidney Cowboys (Sidney, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Griswold will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Cowboys go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 75-54 non-league loss to Shenandoah (Shenandoah, IA).
