Happy Valley Warriors (Elizabethton, TN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting West Greene Buffaloes (Mosheim, TN), 70-56 in a league bout.

With the victory, Happy Valley upgrades its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Warriors host Chuckey-Doak (Afton, TN) to play the Black Knights in a 2A District 1 bout on Friday, December 8. The Black Knights come into the bout with a record of 4-3. Chuckey-Doak won 60-48 in their recent league bout against Hampton (Hampton, TN)

Next up, the Buffaloes play the Unicoi County Blue Devils (Erwin, TN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. West Greene will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
