With the victory, Palestine-Wheatley upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Patriots host Barton (Lexa, AR) to play the Bears in a 2A Region 6 bout on Friday, December 8. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 5-0. Barton won 72-55 in their recent non-league bout against Augusta (Augusta, AR)

Next up, the Hornets play the Des Arc Eagles (Des Arc, AR) in a 2A Region 6 bout, on Friday, December 8. Hazen will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 70-24 league loss to Lee (Marianna, AR).
