In Tuesday's league match, the host Highland Rebels basketball team scored a good 58-38 triumph over the Pocahontas Redskins.
In their next game, the Rebels meet the Izard County Cougars (Brockwell, AR) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 7. Highland will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 70-63 league win over Marshall (Marshall, AR).
With the defeat, Pocahontas moves to 1-2 on the year. The Redskins travel to Riverside (Lake City, AR) to meet the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 12-3.
