The North Sand Mountain Bison basketball team (Higdon, AL), was nudged 75-72 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Kate Duncan Smith DAR Patriots (Grant, AL)

The Patriots now possess a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Randolph School for a non-league battle on Friday, December 8. Kate Duncan Smith DAR will confront a Raiders team coming off a 55-46 league loss to St. John Paul II (Huntsville, AL). The Raiders record now stands at 6-3.

The Bison (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Pisgah (Pisgah, AL). The Eagles come into the 2A Area 15 battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Pisgah edged Sylvania (Sylvania, AL), 91-80, in a non-league battle.
