The Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA) basketball nipped the host Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA), 70-63 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wolves (5-3) will now prepare for their test against White County (Cleveland, GA). The Warriors go into the AAA Region 7 test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, White County got by Tallulah Falls (Tallulah Falls, GA), 53-50, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to West Hall for a AAA Region 7 test on Friday, December 8. Lumpkin County will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 74-68 league loss to Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-5.
