Marcus Marauders (Flower Mound, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Richardson Eagles (Richardson, TX), 61-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Marcus upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Marauders travel to Brackenridge (San Antonio, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Brackenridge lost 50-45 in their recent non-league bout against Boerne (Boerne, TX)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Berkner Rams (Richardson, TX) in a 6A Region I District 7 bout, on Friday, December 8. Richardson will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 60-53 non-league loss to Poteet (Mesquite, TX).
