Wenonah Dragons (Birmingham, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Midfield Patriots (Midfield, AL), 82-76 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wenonah upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Dragons travel to Center Point (Birmingham, AL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-8. Center Point lost 82-48 in their recent non-league bout against McAdory (McCalla, AL)

Next up, the Patriots play the Indian Springs Student (Pelham, AL) in a 3A Area 9 bout, on Monday, December 11. Midfield will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Student go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 53-48 league win over Childersburg (Childersburg, AL).
