Minnesota High School Basketball - Sibley East overwhelmed by Minnesota Valley Lutheran

The Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the visiting Sibley East Wolverines to 40 in the Chargers league victory on Tuesday.
The Chargers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Ulm Cathedral for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Minnesota Valley Lutheran will battle a Greyhounds team coming off a 72-63 league loss to St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN). The Greyhounds record now stands at 1-1.
The Wolverines (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN). The Thunderbirds come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop was routed by MACCRAY (Clara City, MN), 69-54, in a non-league contest.
