The Montevideo Thunderhawks basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Minnewaska Area Lakers to 54 in the Thunderhawks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Thunderhawks now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Redwood Valley for a AA Section 3 contest on Thursday, December 7. Montevideo will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 63-47 league win over Minnewaska Area (Glenwood, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-0.

The Lakers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sauk Centre (Sauk Centre, MN). The Mainstreeters enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Sauk Centre triumphed over Central (Norwood-Young America, MN), 56-49, in a non-league contest.
