Arkansas High School Basketball - Pottsville can't hold off Morrilton

The Morrilton Devil Dogs basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Pottsville Apaches to 56 in the Devil Dogs league triumph on Tuesday.
The Devil Dogs now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stuttgart for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Morrilton will battle a Ricebirds team coming off a 58-46 non-league loss to Lonoke (Lonoke, AR). The Ricebirds record now stands at 1-6.
The Apaches (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Dardanelle (Dardanelle, AR). The Sand Lizards enter the 4A Region 4 contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Dardanelle was nudged by Subiaco Academy (Subiaco, AR), 55-32, in a league contest.
