Illinois High School Basketball - Morrison can't hold off Sherrard

The Sherrard Tigers basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Morrison Mustangs to 39 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Farmington for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16.

The Mustangs (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Riverdale (Port Byron, IL). The Rams enter the Three Rivers - West contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Riverdale nudged Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL), 55-49, in a league contest.
