Texas High School Basketball - Vanguard Christian edges Salem Sayers Baptist Academy

The Vanguard Christian Knights (Boerne, TX) basketball nipped the host Salem Sayers Baptist Academy (Adkins, TX), 57-51 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Knights (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Big Springs Charter (Leakey, TX). The BSCS Hawks go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Big Springs Charter was tipped by Vanguard Christian (Boerne, TX), 68-17, in a non-league test.

The now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host San Antonio Prep for a test on Tuesday, December 5. Salem Sayers Baptist Academy will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 58-35 non-league loss to Compass Rose Legacy (San Antonio, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
