Shelby County Wildcats (Columbiana, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Vincent Yellow Jackets (Vincent, AL), 58-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Shelby County upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Holy Family Catholic (Birmingham, AL) to clash with the Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 1-3.

Next up, the Yellow Jackets clash with the Appalachian Eagles (Oneonta, AL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Vincent will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 58-56 non-league win over Cornerstone (Birmingham, AL).
