The New School Cougars (Fayetteville, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Thaden Barnstormer (Bentonville, AR), 65-25 in a league bout.

With the win, The New School upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Cougars host Forrest City (Forrest City, AR) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Forrest City won 80-62 in their recent league bout against Blytheville (Blytheville, AR)

Next up, the Barnstormer play the Ozark Catholic Academy Griffins (Springdale, AR) in a 1A Region 1 West bout, on Friday, December 8. Thaden will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Griffins go into the bout with a 15-4 record after their 62-15 league win over Decatur (Decatur, AR).
