Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Wheeler Eagles (Wheeler, MS) and the visiting Tremont Eagles (Tremont, MS), saw Wheeler's basketball squad wallop Tremont by a tally of 78-40.

With the victory, Wheeler improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Thrasher (Booneville, MS) to confront the Rebels in a 1A Region 1 challenge on Friday, December 8. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Thrasher won 51-45 in their recent league challenge against Tupelo Christian Prep (Belden, MS)

Next up, the Eagles confront the Biggersville Lions (Corinth, MS) in a 1A Region 1 challenge, on Thursday, December 7. Tremont will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record.
