The Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, IA) basketball nipped the visiting A-D-M Tigers (Adel, IA), 56-54 in Tuesday's league test.
The Tigers (3-1) will now prepare for their test against North Polk (Alleman, IA). The Comets go into the Raccoon River test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, North Polk got by Carroll (Carroll, IA), 59-24, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Bondurant-Farrar for a Raccoon River test on Friday, December 8. A-D-M will encounter a Bluejays squad coming off a 61-40 league loss to Ballard (Huxley, IA). The Bluejays record now stands at 2-2.
