Iowa High School Basketball - Anamosa overwhelmed by Monticello

The Monticello Panthers basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Anamosa Raiders to 23 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bellevue for a Freelance contest on Friday, December 8. Monticello will battle a Comets team coming off a 37-20 league loss to Camanche (Camanche, IA). The Comets record now stands at 3-2.
The Raiders (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Maquoketa (Maquoketa, IA). The Cardinals come into the River Valley - North contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Maquoketa triumphed over Cascade (Cascade, IA), 55-39, in a non-league contest.
